Who are Talizman
Supporters?
They are individuals,
companies, and groups that recognizes the need of
non-profit activity in
For more than 3 years, Talizman worked without a
single employee, performing all of its charitable operations strictly through
volunteers - mainly its Board of Directors (all of whom are full-time working
professionals with small children). Thanks to the generous support of corporate
and private sponsors, and the great need for the types of assistance that Talizman provides in Poland, the work overwhelmed the
Board’s and other volunteers’ time. Therefore, in May 2006 the Board decided to
hire a Director of Operations and set up a small office in order to realize Talizman’s potential and increase the effectiveness of the
assistance we provide to those in need.
Because the majority of the donations obtained by Talizman
are in goods, there is a strong need to cover our administrative expenses and
help us build the organizational infrastructure necessary to do our work. Talizman Supporters donate a fixed, monthly amount (of at
least €10 or PLN40). These funds are used to cover our day-to-day operating
costs.
Much more than donating funds:
* We welcome suggestions and proposals from our Supporters
regarding Talizman’s activities, and we will consider
(in the case of significant or long-time supporters) placing a member on our
Board of Directors.
* Supporters will receive Talizman newsletters about
current activities, with detailed information on present projects, results of
past projects, and our new projects.
* Supporters’ names are listed in the Sponsors section of the Talizman webpage (though we offer an option to remain
anonymous).
* Supporters will receive VIP invitations to Talizman-sponsored
events.
How to become a Talizman Supporter?
1. Set a fixed bank transfer donation to The Talizman

Do not forget to write 'Supporter' in the transfer title. Minimum 10 Euro
donations are accepted.
