Project Energy Transfer South is supported by State Street Foundation and dedicated to small rural school from Malopolskie voivodship.
The Energy Transfer programs are aimed at existing schools in rural areas run by local parents' associations. We believe that a good school is the basis for the development of young people and a key element of civil society, that is why we want to help them develop their potential. We know that such schools exist despite the difficulties. In the longer term, our goal is the creation of independent and self-sustaining network of schools, while acting as the Centres for Rural Development.
Similar schools run by local communities is approximately 350 throughout the country. We're working hard to ensure that our commitment does not cause addiction in accordance with the mechanism, "Give to get." Ultimately, schools have to go through Energy Transfer Program and become more independent, working to give a fishing pole - not a fish.
Give to get - only such school and community that are ready to give something more than themselves can participate in the program. Access to Technical and Scholarship Fund is subject to the conduct of additional projects by teachers and Practice Development Projects / beneficial for students.
Triple effect - donors and partners who are involved in the program know that their support will translate into not only the direct effect (eg new computers) but also additional classes for pupils and local community.
